J.D. Power Awards

Ford outshined the competition with J.D. Power Awards this year. J.D. Power Awards are special because each award represents a different aspect of the car-buying and car-ownership process in which a vehicle can blossom. Here’s how Ford stood out.

The J.D. Power quality award is awarded to the brand who had the fewest problems reported by 100 car owners during the first 90 days of ownership. This honor is only given to brands whose cars left the factory in excellent condition. After collecting data, J.D Power recognized the Ford Mustang and Ford Expedition as exceptionally built.

The J.D. Power dependability award recognizes brands with vehicles built to last. It’s given to the brand who had the fewest problems reported by 100 car owners during the last 12 months with their 3-year old vehicle. After extensive surveying in 2019, J.D. Power acknowledges the 2016 Ford Expedition as an extremely durable vehicle.
