The Ford F-250 offers a host of workable options including 6 trims—XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch®, Platinum, and Limited. The first five trims come with a standard 6.2-liter SOHC 2-valve Flex Fuel V-8 engine paired with a TorqShift®-G 6-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift®, and the option of either rear-wheel or four-wheel drivetrains.

Additional Ford Super Duty engine options include a 7.3-liter V-8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission that produces 430 horsepower, 475 lb-ft of torque, and takes you from 0-60 mph in 7.3 seconds (F-250 XLT Tremor).

There’s also a Power Stroke 6.7L turbo diesel gas V8 engine paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission that ups the ante with 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes standard on the Ford F-250 Limited and is available on other trims.

More Safety Comes Standard

If you want safety and driver assist features, the F-250 has them. Automatic Emergency Braking is standard on all XLT trims and above. Lariat trims and above include standard Lane Departure Warning, and both of these features are available on the lower trims.

Other available features include Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Monitoring with Trailer Coverage, and a 360° Camera that gives drivers a complete view of their surroundings. This system uses a Rear View Camera and a series of other cameras strategically placed around the vehicle for a birds-eye view as well as several other views of the area around the truck.

Surpassing last year’s model by four inches, the new F-250 pickups (Lariat trims and above) are now equipped with a standard 12-inch infotainment system screen with split-screen functionality and standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability. The base XL trim comes standard with a 4.2-inch infotainment system with a Rear View Camera, and the XLT model includes the 8.0-inch infotainment system.

Drivers and passengers can also enjoy available FordPass™ Connect with 4G LTE WI-Fi® Hotspot powered by AT&T that lets you connect up to 8 devices at once from as far away as 50 feet outside the vehicle. It also helps you keep track of Wi-Fi data on the go.
